Global Impact Celebration ended tonight! It has been a monumental time in our church at Roswell United Methodist Church. I am so proud of our friends and church family who helped; and though Lon and I were not able to do much, the impact on our hearts was great. Our sunday school class hosted Pastor Vale and Sergio (both missionaries for Christ) from Mexico, and there where 39 other missionaries hosted by families in our church. We learned about the great works God has been doing in their lives because of RUMC's ability to donate services whether it be finacial, Prayer, or service. We are so proud to be a part of the Greater mission of Christ in our church; even though our personal roles have yet to be defined. As a church whole we Raised $738000 to fund schools, clothing, food, homes, businessed in parts of the world it would be impossible if they didn't have people impacting their lives like those of us at RUMC. Congratulations Roswell, I am so proud to be a part of the Family of God! We hope that one day soon we can experience the life of being a missionary, and to go to Nuevo Laredo Mexico, and to Brazil and Kenya and Peru to name a few of the countries we help out. ANd even help here in the US in Mississippi, and Louisianna and with all the missions that need our help. God Speed!
